Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on assessment and treatment of the spine, muscles,  joints, and nervous system using the best available evidence and clinical expertise to diagnose issues that affect the body’s movement without medication or surgery.

Chiropractic adjustments are controlled, manual techniques used to restore motion to joints of the spine and extremities. By improving joint mobility and reducing mechanical stress, adjustments may help relieve pain, decrease muscle tension, and improve range of motion.

Spinal Adjustments

Acupuncture is a complementary therapy that uses very fine, sterile needles inserted at specific points on the body. It may be incorporated into chiropractic care to help improve mobility, relieve discomfort and manage pain, and promote overall musculoskeletal health.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a non-invasive treatment
that uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate the body's natural healing response in injured or painful tissues. It is commonly used to treat chronic tendon injuries, plantar fasciitis, calcific shoulder tendinopathy, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Shockwave may help reduce pain, improve circulation, promote tissue repair, and restore function.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as cold laser therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular healing and reduce pain and inflammation. It may help accelerate tissue repair, improve circulation, decrease muscle and joint discomfort, and support recovery from acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment is painless and requires no downtime.

Exercise prescription is an important component of chiropractic care that involves developing individualized exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, stability, mobility, and overall function. Based on a patient's condition, goals, and physical abilities, chiropractors prescribe targeted exercises to support recovery, reduce pain, prevent re-injury, and promote long-term musculoskeletal health.
